The Origins of the Arab-Israeli Conflict and the Israeli Intelligence Response

 

Israel has literally been at war before, during and since its founding in 1948. The operations of its intelligence and security services reflect this war mode, both in the training of its officers and implementation of operations in Israel and around the world.

 

The course discusses operations of the three Israeli intelligence services, the Mossad, Aman, and Shin Bet and what they reveal about the capabilities of Israeli intelligence.

 

The establishment of Israel as a nation and the roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict are discussed and provide a framework for understanding today’s ongoing war with Jihadis’ Islamic terrorism. [1 day]
