Ruth Thomas is a retired senior US Army Intelligence Collection Officer. For close to a decade in Europe, she was involved in all phases of human foreign intelligence collection and conducted a major damage assessment on a terminated operation. She also trained new Army collection officers. Prior to this assignment, Thomas worked as Counterintelligence Officer and Computer Security Inspector for both military and civilian facilities in a twelve Western state area. She distinguished herself as the team leader of a joint service operational security evaluation involving major military commands throughout the world. Thomas retired after twenty years in the US Army.
