This map details the location of significant cyber events in which U.S. national security and international security was put at risk and/or a computer network was compromised, regardless of whether or not the event was successful. These cyber incidents were conducted either by a state or a non-state entity working on the behalf or behest of a national state. As there are thousands of cyber incidents occurring each day, this map details only the most significant cases that have occurred in the past thirty plus years (1980- present).

A "red" pin designates that the cyber event is still ongoing.
